When to Reroll vs Replace
Reroll A-tier or higher companions that already contribute meaningful Fishing Power. Do not reroll commons or low-tier units — replacing them through summons or egg hatches costs less long-term.
Prioritize rerolls on units you plan to level at the Training Ground after rebirth. A well-rolled legendary companion multiplies every future fishing session — a poorly rolled one wastes Training Ground slots.
Best Traits for Fishing
Fishing Power is the primary stat for rare catches and reel forgiveness. Luck modifiers stack with consumables and island bonuses. Combat stats matter only for sea beast hunting — do not optimize purely for combat if fishing is your main income.
