Consult the tier list before spending heavily. Units ranked high for Fishing Power bonuses deliver the best return on Gem investment because they multiply every future catch.

Support-tier units with luck or reel-assist abilities become valuable at mid-game when hunting specific rare fish. Combat-focused units matter more for sea beast content than pure fishing.

Using Rerolls Effectively

Rerolls from codes like LUCKYPATCH reset companion trait assignments. Save rerolls for units you plan to keep long-term — rerolling a common unit you will replace within hours wastes the resource.

After rebirth unlocks training, rerolled traits compound with level bonuses. This makes mid-game reroll timing optimal for maximum long-term value.
